I know.. I know I've been a bad blogger. I haven't posted a thing since JANUARY when I first moved here. The transition hit me a little harder than I thought and while it would have made a great place for blog fodder this isn't the appropriate avenue to piss an.d moan about my personal life. This is the place to piss and moan about school!
Kidding.
So to catch you all up (HI!) I have completed two quarters at FIDM thus far in my Merchandising Marketing major. I'm about to enter into my 3rd quarter and am hyper confident. After dropping the ball a little bit in the second quarter (3.08 GPA... ouch) down from a 3.8 no less, I am back on track. So a couple tips to keep your grades up:
1. Don't leave class early. This really messed me up in my Effective Speaking class during my 2nd quarter. I would leave at the break and instead of an easy A I wound up with a C... but its my own fault. There are boring classes yes, and to no fault of the instructor... it just happens
2. READ YOUR BOOK!!!! This will help you so much on quizzes and you don't even know it. Especially if you have a class with Marcus, who is amazing btw. You will never retain more information in your life.
There are of course more tips but I need something to talk about later. It is my goal to post about twice a week but we will see.. there's lots more to talk about including my new JOB!! Mmmm paycheck... mmmm bowties....
Until next time, remember to keep it cute

Saw your blog, and twitter page via FIDM's Twitter. I go to FIDM as well, I've seen you around, and I just have to say that you are ADORABLE! Hopefully you take that as a compliment :) And when I read in one of your earlier posts that you were from Canada it made me like you even more lol. Good Luck with the blog, and FIDM.
ReplyDeleteAw thanks! I love comments! Tell your friends how witty and insightful I am, but don't tell them I told you to say that...
ReplyDeleteSay hi if you see me around campus, I'm super tall and have an affectation towards wearing bowties so you can't really miss me. I'm usually surrounded by people that only reach my shoulders or below.
